Hello my name is Michael Haren I am the proprietor of ‘ Tullassa Range’ which is situated in the heart of Kilmaley, Co Clare, Ireland. Shooting is more than a sport to me, its a way of life. Thats why I decided to develop Tullassa Range into one of the best clay pigeon shooting grounds the west of Ireland has to offer, we hope you can join us for a memorable day out, wether your a beginner or a seasoned professional we cater for all including small & large groups as well as corporate clients.
Clay shooting helps you develop accuracy, agility and focus. It’s a skill and a passion. The love of the sport and the wish to progress to owning your own gun means that you have to be a competent law abiding citizen. My own passion for the sport has built my self-esteem and confidence. As I have developed my expertise over the years I have learnt honor, discipline and respect.
I feel really privileged that I have had the opportunity to turn my hobby into a business. Planning my shooting range has helped me realise that there is a lot of support available in the country if you are serious about your business. I am just starting out on a new journey and I am proud of what I have achieved so far.
As well as clay pigeon shooting Tullasssa Range will be offering clients the opportunity to enjoy Archery at our newly extended Archery range which will cater for all ages with expert tuition available, or maybe you would like the opportunity to participate in the sport of kings, Falconry the oldest sport known to mankind, the experience of a noble Hawk landing on your gloved hand for the first time is one that will stay with you forever.
My father, Michael Snr., has been a great source of inspiration and support to me.
Since I first started work on the Shooting Range many people have helped and advised. I want to thank the following for what they have done:
The Clare Local Development Company, especially Hilary Gleeson.
The Department of Social Protection.
Ennistymon Gun Club: Sean Irvine.
Irish Clay Pigeon Shooting: Conor Mooney and Matthew Sheedy.
Joe O’Loughlin, Lisdoonvarna.
